Marcus High School is a large Texas Region 1 District 6-6A high school with over 3400 students located in Flower Mound, Texas. Marcus Baseball is a highly competitive program with a strong history of excellence. In 2013, the Varsity team again advanced to the Regional Semi-finals.

 

In 2014, the varsity team consisting of primarily juniors won district and advanced to the Regional Playoff round of the playoffs losing to our rival school, Flower Mound High School, who won the 5A State Championship.

 

I have been a member of the Marcus baseball team since my freshman year when over 60 players competed for a 20 member roster. I played 1B, 3B and pitcher. My freshman team had a season record of 19-4-1.

 

My sophomore year,  I played 1B and RHP for the Marcus JV.  Our team record was 19-5-1. We won our district.

 

My junior year, with 17 returning seniors (11 of which have committed to play ball at the next level),  I am one of only 3 juniors that have been moved up to the Varsity team. We finished as Bi-District Champions as we lost to Coppell High School in the Area Championship.
